Janiaya Anderson, DNP, FNP-BC
Ms. Anderson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in family medicine, with a strong commitment to patient-centered, evidence based, culturally competent care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Winston-Salem State University, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University School of Nursing, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from NC State University. With a passion for chronic care management, Ms. Anderson focuses on helping patients stay well and at home—avoiding unnecessary hospital visits through proactive, preventive care. She emphasizes patient education at every visit, recognizing that improving health literacy is essential for long-term wellness.
Her approach to care is rooted in respect, understanding, and open communication—ensuring that every patient feels seen, heard, and empowered in their health journey.
Outside of work, Ms. Anderson enjoys spending time with her beloved miniature cockapoo puppy, going to concerts, and exercising.
