Kourtney Ortega, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with Armur Family Medicine in Kannapolis, North Carolina. She provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, treating both acute and chronic conditions with a patient-centered approach. Kourtney is committed to understanding each patient as a whole and strives to ensure every individual feels heard, respected, and supported in their health journey.
She brings over a decade of nursing experience in the hospital setting, with a strong background in pediatric care. While caring for children and adolescents is especially meaningful to her, Kourtney is passionate about helping all patients thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. Her faith plays an important role in shaping her approach to care, emphasizing compassion, kindness, and genuine concern for others.
Kourtney earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2024 and is nationally certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Outside of work, Kourtney is a wife and mother of two boys. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
